Seriously, what’s up?
Last night I was flipping through the channels and saw “Aftermath: Population Zero” on National Geographic. Always intrigued by any title with “Aftermath” in it (“Aftermath: Gym Class” was my favorite growing up), I watched a couple minutes of it, but realized it was the same exact premise of The History Channel’s “Life After People”, which I blogged about a couple months back.
Which leads to my point — does Basic Cable know something that I don’t? Did they get a tip from someone that human civilization was about to end?
Because I have huge summer plans and would hate to have to cancel them. We’re talking BIG plans.

Well that’ll be the end of civilization as we know it…
I don’t like to start all my stories with “Just went upstairs…”, but I just went upstairs and saw that they had a new Snickers bar named “Snickers Charged”. And guess what it contains?
Caffeine.
We really need a Snickers bar that contains caffeine? That’s a rhetorical question — of course we need it.

Hmmm…..
Just went upstairs to grab a turkey sandwich on wheat bread. While she was placing the tomatoes on the bread, I asked her to cut it diagonally (less seepage that way). So she took the tomatoes off, sliced them, and put them back on the bread diagonally. Then she placed the lettuce on the bread diagonally, and did likewise for the American cheese. Then she put the turkey on and put the other piece of bread on top.
Then she cut it straight down the middle.
I’ll be more specific next time.
